Enterprises currently using fiber broadband access have the following characteristics: 1. E-commerce customers are typical e-commerce companies with a high dependence on the internet; the network is their lifeline, and they require highly stable network access services. 2. E-government customers use the internet as their preferred way of conducting administrative work and are likewise highly dependent on it; much of this work must be completed online, so they too require highly stable network access services. 3. Data transmission customers need the internet to transmit large volumes of business or file data; film and television production, revenue data aggregation, and business document transfers all require stable, high-bandwidth internet access. 4. Everyday office customers, given their large headcounts, find that ordinary ADSL and similar internet access methods can no longer meet daily office needs, and so adopt fiber access. 5. Other types of users: customers in the Beijing area choose fiber private line broadband access mainly to solve certain problems enterprises encounter in network applications: 1. Take the server hosting a company website: the site must use stable fiber broadband and a fixed IP address to be accessible to customers in different regions, because only a fixed IP address keeps the network’s physical address in one place at all times. This supports online sales and brand promotion, and the website also requires relatively stable upload and download speeds with low latency. 2. Enterprise ERP applications are essentially the same as website applications, requiring network stability and security; they must also meet the needs of CRM, video, voice, VPN and other business operations. 3. A dedicated channel established between a company and its branch offices is called point-to-point fiber private line access; only a fixed IP address and stable network speed can ensure smooth connectivity between two or more points. Broadband access via private line enables a private network, connecting branch offices in various regions into one large regional network or an interconnected network.
